Would Manchester University be a good place to study photography?

Well I dont know about Manchester University as Im at the Manchester College. I do like it though. Ive learnt quite a bit but for the particular photography that I do, I wouldnt say you need a course as all my band stuff has been done completely off my own back. But I do LOVE Manchester as a city to live in.

HiC: I was wondering do you have any tips on getting started in the line of work you're doing?C: You're photographs are amazing! And you're really pretty:) x

Hey! Thank you and Thank you :P

Well, determination is a big factor. There are so many people out there wanting to be music photographers and its a very difficult line of work to get into and get noticed in. I managed to meet a guy who runs an online magazine and started doing photos for him. I also try to meet local bands in my area and go to gigs quite frequently.

Just take tonnes of photos, experiment loads and be outgoing and friendly :) Hope this helps.

I'm so glad I found your blog, after graduating I wanted to move to Manchester to study photography. I've never been there before, is the move a good idea?

Id suggest it to anyone. I absolutely love this city and Im glad I can call it my home. There is tonnes of stuff for everyone :)
